MOABOT Partner Refund & Commission Adjustment Policy

This policy protects Partner settlement and forms an appendix to the Partner Terms. It is separate from the general end-user refund policy.
The Korean version of this policy is the legally binding original. This English translation is provided for convenience only.
Article 1. Refund rules for referred users
Refunds of paid charges by referred users (who signed up via a Partner’s referral link) follow the Company’s digital content refund policy:
- Full refund: only when within 7 days of payment AND with no service usage history (no bot execution, no webhook reception, etc.).
- Non-refundable or partial: if 7 days have passed or the service has been substantively used (bot setup, signal reception, etc.), full refund is denied; partial refund deducts the cancellation fee and pro-rated usage based on internal rules.
Article 2. Conversion confirmation rules
All paid MOABOT products (subscription and membership) share the same settlement protection window.
- Conversion confirmed: a referral is considered a successful conversion when the referred user completes a paid purchase normally.
- Settlement and withdrawal: all commissions are finalized 45 days after the payment date. A Partner may request withdrawal only against finalized commissions.
- Why 45 days: a buffer to mitigate risks such as refunds, chargebacks and stolen-payment claims and to ensure stable operation of the service.
Article 3. Refund-triggered commission cancellation
- Commissions require the referred user’s payment to remain final and intact.
- If the referred user receives a full or partial refund, the related commission (still pending settlement) is immediately voided.
- The Partner dashboard’s pending-earnings view reflects the deduction.
Article 4. Recovery and offset of already-paid commissions
If, after the 45-day window, a chargeback, confirmed payment theft, post-hoc refund, etc. occurs and a commission has already been paid out:
- Offset: the Company offsets the recoverable amount against the Partner’s next scheduled payout.
- Refund claim: if no offset is possible for more than 30 days, the Partner must remit the unjust-enrichment amount to the Company’s designated account within 7 business days upon the Company’s claim.
- Settlement hold: if the Partner fails to comply, the Company may restrict the Partner’s account or suspend Partner status.
Article 5. Sanctions for abuse and fraud
If a Partner engages in any of the following to obtain commissions unfairly, the Partner’s status will be revoked and all accrued commissions will be forfeited:
- Collusion with the Partner or acquaintances to repeat payment-and-refund cycles to game the system.
- Promising cashback to referred users to generate fake revenue and induce refunds afterwards.
- Abnormally high refund rates among a Partner’s referrals compared to the platform average — settlement may be held for up to 90 days for investigation.
Article 6. Limitation of liability
The Company bears no compensation responsibility for commission cancellations caused by refunds resulting from factors beyond its control, such as a referred user’s change of mind or usage error.
